TD 2-E indeed!

This one isn't very exciting, but it is a depression. The circulation remains poorly defined, but there is now enough convection to define the system as a tropical depression. We could see this system upgraded to a tropical storm if the wind shear decreases, but most indications are for the depression to make landfall tomorrow morning.
