Today's OSEI Image of the Day is of Tropical Cyclone Mala, previously mentioned here. She is in the Bay of Bengal, moving Northeastward towards Myanmar at around 9 knots. With sustained winds of 132 mph (115 knots), Mala would be a Category 4 Hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale.
