Tropical Depression 27 is finally starting to look like a real tropical system. Right now I still wouldn't classify this is a depression, but it would definitely be an area of interest. With that said, by Tuesday this storm will be into a much more favorable area for development. A handful of computer models are getting excited about this system, so we'll have to see how it develops. Right now I am not expecting a blockbuster, but stranger things have happened this year. Given NHC's trigger-happy status, look for the formation of Tropical Storm Gamma coming up.

Radar imagery from Martinique is also suggesting curved banding, indicative of a closed circulation.
