Turbulent weather for thanksgiving week

Heavy rains are likely to move up the East Coast and usher in much colder air. This Nor'Easter has been expected for about a week now and is typical of November. Over 3 inches of rain is expected in parts of eastern North Carolina with over two inches on Cape Cod today alone.0:Monday Precipitation Forecast1:Tuesday Precipitation Forecast

An Alberta Clipper is expected to impact the Mid-West of Wednesday bringing moderate snows to much of the Great Lakes region. The snow could slowly travel across much of the region, but no large scale aviation problems are expected. Heavy snows could impact parts of Michigan, the mountains of New York, and northern Vermont.2:Wednesday Precipitation Forecast

After these two storms pass, snow cover will spread down towards New England and set the stage for a couple more winter storms in the coming week and a half.
