Just to get you thinking, there are signs of a Nor'Easter developing in New England next week. The models are all over the place in terms of track, as it is still very early, but it is worth watching. There is going to be a clear regime change over the hemisphere that should allow for significant storminess. In the past whenever we have seen a change to a positive PNA and negative NAO, it has often been associated with significant Nor'Easters. Meteorologists Heather Archambault and Lance Bosart at SUNY Albany have done extensive work on this matter for those who are interested.
