Beta has maintained strength all night and is still listed at 65 mph and 990 mb. Beta has been interacting with a strong tropical wave to the northwest, and it seems as if Beta may be pulled slightly in that direction. Also, recon earlier today reported a partial eye-like structure so rapid intensification again remains possible.

Beta remains a very small tropical storm but is maintaining a solid central dense overcast region. Overnight Beta did not strengthen at all, but it maintained a healthy structure. Earlier there was an eye structure present, but it has since been disrupted by shear.
