Tropical Storm Alpha forms in the Caribbean

It's official. The 2005 hurricane season is the most active on record. For the first time ever, we have run out of Atlantic hurricane names and started naming storms using Greek letters. Tropi cal Depression Alpha has sustained winds of 35 mph and a central pressure of 1002 mb.

Alpha is currently being ripped about by Hispaniola. After crossing the island she will likely be absorbed by Wilma within 36 hours.
