Hurricane Beta made landfall over Nicaragua this morning as a Category 2 hurricane. Since landfall Beta has continued to weaken over land and now has winds of 90 mph. Beta is going to try to make it across Central America and enter the Pacific, but it is likely that it will degenerate over the mountains tomorrow.
